Again, this post is a few weeks late. Gabby is playing her first year of soccer, on the Thunder Rage. She is very competitive!! She has been asking to play soccer for a year and a half now. She spent a good portion of her first practice, praying...that she would "win". She wants to get to that ball first and she wants to score goals. After practices, she is in a good mood if she feels like she scored enough, and in a sour mood if she feels like she didn't. Her first game was yesterday, and YES, she scored a goal! She also kept a mental note of everyone else that scored a goal (including one girl on the opposite team that Gabby insistes was "cheating"). She listens very well to her coach and she interacts with her teamates a little bit, but really, she is not there to make friends... she is there to make history!
