Yesterday, Kaia, Gabby and I marched around the neighborhood, with our green clipboard, taking orders for our "Bake Sale". In addition to my participating in the "walk n rock", to sponsor kids with cancer, Kaia and Gabby committed to helping bake chocolate cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, and "gammy-made" strawberry rhubarb pie. They asked for donations from Sandy, Jerry, Neighbor Mike and Shannon, and raised 35$. Kaia also sold a piece of her artwork, made during art docent time at school, to her Gampy, for 10$. Kaia did most of the talking during our pitches. she did very well. Gabby mentioned a few times, that she would like to take home a little profit, because "we're POOR!". We are planning to have a lemonade stand for profit, in the near future.
