Tahoe Thanksgiving 2011

Tradition prevails, and we spend another Thanksgiving huddled together, relaxing in Tahoe.

Breakfast time was delicious as usual with everything from the Adcock's blueberry french toast bake, to Gene's variety of quiches and citrus and mint salad, and Heather's caramel- apple-crumble muffins.  Although, nothing was as satisfying as that first cup of hot coffee brewed and served by a loving family member.

Lounging was an integral part of our time, whether it was watching football, napping, or watching a movie.

The kids enjoyed playing board games, participating in epic pokemon battles and reading stories.

The cheese and wine appetizer was perfectly excecuted by Gene, although the yellow pictures don't do it justice.

Perfect turkey, accompanied by many perfect sides, thanks to Gammy and Auntie Carla (and of course to all those who washed dishes).

Delicious beef stroganoff, prepared by Uncle Phil, with the aid of his two sous chefs, after thier gettaway to the local pub.

Thanksgiving 2011 was a memorable one, filled with invigorating walks, great food and wine, dogs, movies, games and the best family anyone could ask for.
