Benny's Hard Day

I took this presh in to get his thumb looked at. It was infected due to a splinter or bug bite. The doctor had to break open the big, swollen, puss-filled bubble with a needle. OMG. POOR BABY. Then he got three shots in the sweet, milky, baby legs. I have never seen him cry half that hard. Now, I am laying here with him, under a worn-thin quilt, made with the loving hands of my Grandmother. Once again, I am amazed by the soothing and healing properties of mother's milk. After nursing him to a calm sleep, I treat his little boo-boo with more breast milk. It is sure convenient to have my own infection-fighting serum on hand at all times!
