Benny at 12 Months
He says "Noooooo!" with a very compelling tone and a very concerned look on his face. He slaps me in the face and laughs. He says, "Dic-uh,Dic-uh,Dic-uh,Dic-uh, Dic-uh...", typically in bed, during dark hours of the early morning. He says"Mama" or "Mom", as well as "Dada". He loves to get silly and goofy. He hates to get pulled away from the big kid playground at school. He plays cars with Kaleb and says "Brum-Brum". He yelps like a baby bird when he sees food we are eating and wants some. I recently shared a spider roll, a garden salad, some pad Thai, and some chili with him. There's ZIP. He won't eat. Plus, he can smell a piece of Halloween candy being chewed rather discreetly in my mouth and he will stick his grimy little fingers In to pull some of it out and taste for himself. His favorite is chewed up snickers. He still loves hanging out in Kaia's room and doodling in her journal. He got a cozy coupe for his birthday from Grandma Annie and can be found running errands all over the house. He is a pill when I'm doing dishes, as he tries with every fiber in his chubby white body to pull out knives from the dishwasher.
