Halloween Activities

We went up north for a short weekend so that the kids could see their friends. We went to auntie Sara's for a Halloween party and Penny and Megan painted each others faces. We brought candy apples to Sandy,, Madison, and Julia. If memory serves, I took my kids and Madison and her brother to Chucky Cheese for a play date. Clearly... I empathize with my kids missing their friends.we got back on Halloween, which was a Monday. I trick or treated with the kids and we went to a Trunk or Treat at the kids preschool. 4 kids, high on sugar, newborn baby, a million strangers...not terribly relaxing. I loved watching them have fun and cut loose though. Kaleb and penny wore costumes to school for the parade. Kaleb regretted switching from Superman to Pooh Bear at the last minute. This regret was exasperated by the fact that he forgot his pants and had to wear the costume all day, when everyone else took theirs off after the parade.
