Benny's first 3 weeks

Benny proved to be a sweet and mild little lamb of a baby. He slept wonderfully, curled up with mama all night long. During the day he slumbered in the arms of a sister or in the swing. He had very sensitive skin and a heavy dose of baby acne. He had the craziest set of googly eyes. We lovingly called him cookie monster. On occasion he would wake up congested, snorting like an angry piglet. There was no other choice but to take him into the hot shower. Middle of the night or not, it was worth the trouble, because the steam instantly cleared his nose out and the warm water put him right to sleep. These instances gave birth to the nickname, "Snorty". He ate like a champ morning, noon and night. He was, and is, HEAVEN.
