The girls came up for a mini visit in May, so Cap'n could pick up her new car from Step-Gampy. We enjoyed blueberry and cream filled pancakes and tuscan scramble (Toast topped with goat cheese, farm-fresh eggs, sundried tomatoes, and basil), along with mimosas with roadside strawberries for brunch. Then we went to the store to find one of our favorites, Wet Hot American Summer. We found it in a 4 movie pack (along with 3 other dreadful failures), for 4.99 at Best Buy. Then we had the cheese and wine course for lunch and ate ourselves silly. For dinner we had salmon, roasted summer squash and fingerling potatoes, caprice salad and caeser salad with parmesan crostinis. Dessert was strawberry shortcake with roadside strawberries, baked biscuits, and freshed whipped whip cream.
