Snow Day! Bounce houses(with no lines), real snow, pictures with Santa, awesome families, and cold beer at Sea Pines. Oh yes, did I mention we walked there? In our flip flops?
Great impromptu after party with monarch friends. LOTS of pizza, lots of kids, some vodka and pink lemonade. Great community of people. Thank goodness for "late start Monday"!

Christmas Party 2012

Chili/nacho bar, cornbread, finger apps, 805 keg, dirty martinis, sherbet punch, chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, gluten free chocolate lavender cupcakes, Eclair Bakery goodies.

Ornament exchange. Hot ornament...Budweiser can with sparkles.

Rodgers, Browns, Blackwells, Davenports, Schaffers, Dinunzios...grand total-21 kids and 13 adults.

Forts, dance party in garage, art, toys, "Baby Area" for the 3 little guys,The Grinch screening on couch under blankies.

Nina Courtney' Pre-Christmas Visit

We went to Target...twice. Sally Loo's. On Point. Like Crazy. Hard cider and good cheese. Makeovers. Benny bonding. Just enjoying The Shire that is the central coast.

Kaleb's surprise from Troy!

Troy sent Kaleb an amazing antique bus, just like the cool ones in his deli that Kaleb loves to play with. Kaleb is so baffled that Troy would do that. He says, "I wonder why he sent me that.. Why does he think I'm cool?".

Tree Shopping 2012

Home Depot did us right. We got a tree and a gingerbread kit. In problem, was that 3 outbid 5 kiddos fell asleep on the way home from SLO. So we couldn't decorate. Instead we made nachos and watched Home Alone 2 with the night owls Gabby and Kaleb.

Penny's Dental Sugery

Penny had to get 2 teeth extracted at the hospital. "Helen" was with her the whole time. Because Penny went to sleep, the Tooth Fairy brought her a sparkly fairy ornament. She woke up uncomfortable, hungry and wanting to get out there. I remember sitting with her in her tiger hospital PJ's, on the gurney, trying to help her feel better. She eventually had the best rootbeer Popsicle of her life.
