This little party animal fell asleep at 5:30, the previous night....which means she was back up at 9:30 when everyone else was going to sleep. She drove Gene and I crazy, alternating who she woke up for hours on end, requesting snacks, drinks and movies. The party dress never came off and she wears it still as she stumbles out of whatever corner of the house she collapsed in. Shameless.

S'moreicide

I committed S'moreicide last night. It effects everyone. The kitchen was left in shambles, full bladdered kids went to bed without diapers, and innocent people had to look at me the following morning after I went to bed with wet hair.
This is not a victimless crime.
At least now I know my limit. 3 marshmallows, 2 Reese's, 1 Hershey's square, and 1 slop of cookie butter smooshed between 2 grahams... Is too much.

Big Day For Benny

Benstuh really went above and beyond today. He took 2 big boy steps- REAL ONES! He also started clapping, with no provocation whatsoever. He even threw in some clapping with his polar bear stance! He also put away a lumberjacks portion of potato salad...
8.5 months people.

Making the Rounds! (Trip Up North Before Camping)

Started the festivities with an Ice cream party at the spray park with Auntie Sara's gang, including Penny's BFF Megan. Then, we enjoyed a pool date at Liam's, one of Kaia's most revered Catheryn Gates friends. Penny hung out with the 12 year olds and got a makeover. We dropped in on Wacky Tacky and romped with the Auntie Sara gang again, in addition to the two we picked up on the way. Gabby's BFF Madison and big brother. Not to mention Hiliri and her two little monkeys. We even got to stop in on neighbor Sandy and pup Tilly-magical! We squeezed in a cupcake and milk party at Royer Park with Julia before heading down to Santa Cruz for camping. Man these trips up North are going to rot out my kids teeth.
