After nifty-gifties...
Daddy-o made some breakfast. Frittata with rainbow chard, carrots, manchego cheese, and sweet onions, enormous pancakes, bacon, and biscuits and gravy...NBD. And of course hot cocoa and coffee. This was the first year that I had an opportunity to use my Spode collection that I had been adding to!
Then Penny did a little "I-Make"...mixed with hot cocoa.
Then "Sandy-Clause" came over bearing ZuZu Pet gifts for the kids! Afterwards, Gabby and Kaia presented their handmade gifts to her.
Finally, after an amazing nap for Mom (somehow!), we went over to Gam's for dinner and presents from Uncle T. We ate a delicious apple cider pork roast, with all the leftovers from Christmas Eve. We then, opened Uncle T's gifts; a mixer for Gene and I, cookie sheets for Gammy, a butterfly book and magnifying glass for Penny, a joke book and some card games for Kaia, a pirate chest for Gabby, and tractor legos for Kaleb. What a thoughtful and generous Uncle. Gene received a sweater, socks, belt and a gift card from Gams. I received cozy UGG slippers (that have CHANGED MY LIFE), and a gift card. We watched a charming family movie called Ramona and Beezus, about a big sister and a little sister, based on a books series by Judy Blume.
